Quality Assurance Engineer
Gowanda Electronics a local manufacturer of magnetic components is seeking an individual who is team oriented and highly motivated to join its Quality Assurance team. The desired candidate would have experience and key responsibilities for maintaining its documentation systems for both AS9100 and ISO13485 Quality Management Systems. In addition the individual would work closely with manufacturing in developing quality improvement plans and supporting the manufacturing process long term goals and objectives.
The preferred candidate would have good problem solving skills along with a basic understanding of conducting FMEA Processes, SPC and performing Process Capability analysis activities. The preferred candidate would also be required to support and interact with Gowanda’s environmental lab activities such as setting up and using various types of lab and test equipment along with developing and compiling product test reports as required.
The desired candidate would have a CQT / CQE and or 3 to 5 years working experience in the Quality Assurance field. Any experience with software platforms such as Minitab, MS Access, AutoCAD Inventor or equivalent is a plus.

Proto type/Maintenance machine shop is searching for a skilled machinist. Experience on Bridgeport type manual mills and lathes to produce precision components is a must and CNC lathes and mills is helpful. Must be able to read and create blueprints and design molds, fixtures and tooling to allow production workers to produce or assemble finished goods. Knowledge of computer aided drawing needed. Knowledge of Auto CAD Inventor, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics will be helpful. Willingness to work a min of 40 hours a week in a drug-free work place is a must.

Full-Time Production Line Operators - 1st & 2nd Shift
Candidates should have an understanding of production environments. They will be required to assemble/modify electronic components and be capable of demonstrating the ability to repetitively assemble small items at established production rates. May work as a team or individually to perform tasks to fit, fasten and wire coild used in electrical components. Our assembled parts are small so good vision is needed.

2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Tech / Lead Person
Responsibilities include maintaining machinery thru repairs, adjustments and preventive maintenance. Individual will be responsible for preparing machines prior to the initiation of orders. Will supervise a minimal production crew and will work directly for the first shift supervisors. Perform other related dutes and responsibilities as required or assigned. Qualification requirements: Preferred Associate Degree from Tech/Vocational college; Maintenance experience in similar industry; Require knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electronic systems; Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics; Prior supervisory experience in production environment; Good work ethic and sense of urgency; Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours/week.
