Power
Gowanda designs and manufactures Ruggedized Power Inductors for applications where the inductor must be able to withstand the rigors and stresses of harsh environments. These Ruggedized Power Inductors deliver a desirable combination of high performance, excellent value and robustness.
Power inductors are used in medical diagnostic, monitoring and analysis equipment, electrical/electronic test and measurement equipment, and commercial and industrial control systems. These inductors are used in microprocessor and distributed power applications - including power supplies, power regulators, and DC to DC converters - especially in test & measurement equipment, automotive electronics, medical diagnostic equipment, and industrial process control equipment. Additional applications include use in security systems, instrumentation, bar code and laboratory analysis equipment. Some of Gowanda's smaller designs are used in hand held devices popular in the wireless area, including cell phones, small drives and PC cards.
Surface Mount
Gowanda offers surface mount designs in the Ruggedized Products - Power Inductor product line. These inductors enable construction of electronic circuits by mounting components directly onto the printed circuit board.
Thru-hole
Gowanda also offers thru-hole designs in the Ruggedized Products - Power Inductor product line for applications which require components with wire leads.
