Gowanda’s 180KM2502SM is a high-quality wirewound toroidal inductor designed for demanding applications. With a compact size of 8.64 × 8.64 × 6.86 mm and a weight of just 0.7 grams, it is part of the KMSM series and features surface mount technology (SMT) for easy integration. This component is suitable for COTS+ grade applications, offering an inductance of 25 µH and a direct current resistance (DCR) of 0.145 Ω. It operates efficiently with a self-resonant frequency (SRF) of 30 MHz and a current rating of 1.33 A DC. The inductor can handle incremental current changes of 250 mA DC at a 10% inductance drop and 500 mA DC at a 20% drop. It has a tolerance of ±10% and uses Pb termination with a Sn63Pb37 finish, ensuring reliable performance across a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to +130°C. With a moisture sensitivity level (MSL) of 1, it is packaged in tape and reel (T&R) format for convenient handling and assembly.
