Gowanda’s GA40-124K is a high current power choke designed for demanding applications, featuring a compact size with dimensions of 22.86 × 11.43 × 11.43 mm and a weight of 7 grams. This component is part of the GA40 series and utilizes through-hole technology (THT) for mounting. It is suitable for COTS+ application grades, offering an inductance of 1200 µH with a direct current resistance (DCR) of 1.04 Ω. The GA40-124K supports a current rating of 0.661 A DC and a saturation current of 0.79 A DC, with a tolerance of ±10%. The choke is constructed with a ferrite core and features a lead (Pb) termination type with a Sn63Pb37 finish. It operates effectively within a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, has a moisture sensitivity level (MSL) of 1, and is packaged in tape and reel (T&R) format. However, it is not shielded and is not fungal inert.
