Gowanda’s GA5-222K is a high current power choke designed for demanding applications, featuring a compact size with dimensions of 10.16 × 4.064 × 4.064 mm and a weight of 0.6 g. This component is part of the GA5 series and is mounted using through-hole technology (THT). It is suitable for COTS+ application grades, offering an inductance of 22 µH with a direct current resistance (DCR) of 0.19 Ω. The GA5-222K supports a current rating of 1 A DC and a saturation current of 640 A DC, with a self-resonant frequency (SRF) of 8.4 MHz and a tolerance of ±10%. It features a lead-based termination type with a Sn63Pb37 finish and a ferrite core, although it is not shielded.
