Gowanda’s HC50-6501SM is a high current toroidal inductor designed for demanding applications, offering a compact size with dimensions of 18.8 × 18.8 × 10.16 mm and a weight of 7 grams. Part of the HCSM series, this surface-mount technology (SMT) component is suitable for COTS+ grade applications. It features an inductance of 6.5 µH, a low DC resistance of 0.0066 Ω, and a current rating of 12 A DC, ensuring efficient performance. The inductor operates within a frequency range up to 55 MHz and maintains a tolerance of ±20%. It is constructed with Pb termination and a Sn63Pb37 finish, capable of withstanding temperatures from -30°C to +130°C.
