Gowanda’s SMB3528-2LF is a high impedance unfiltered filter bead designed for demanding applications, featuring a compact size with dimensions of 9 × 7.24 × 4.7 mm and a weight of 1.5 g. Part of the SMB3525 series, this surface-mount technology (SMT) component is suitable for COTS+ grade applications. It offers an inductance of 2.5 µH with 2.5 turns and a low direct current resistance (DCR) of 0.005 Ω, supporting a current rating of 9.5 A DC. The filter bead provides minimum impedance values of 490 Ω at 100 MHz, 635 Ω at 150 MHz, and 650 Ω at 220 MHz. It features RoHS-compliant terminations with a Sn100 finish and operates efficiently within a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. With a moisture sensitivity level (MSL) of 1, it is packaged in tape and reel (T&R) format for ease of handling and installation.
