Gowanda’s SMRF1210S-182K is a molded shielded inductor designed for high reliability in electronic applications. Weighing just 0.05 grams, it features compact dimensions of 3 × 2.16 × 2.06 mm and is part of the SMRF1210S series. This surface-mount technology (SMT) component is suitable for COTS+ grade applications, offering an inductance of 18 µH with a direct current resistance (DCR) of 2.8 Ω and a current rating of 0.24 A DC. It operates effectively within a frequency range, with a self-resonant frequency (SRF) of 21 MHz and a test frequency of 2.5 MHz, maintaining a minimum Q factor of 40. The inductor has a tolerance of ±10% and features lead-based (Pb) terminations with a Sn63Pb37 finish. Constructed with a ferrite core, it is not shielded but is designed to withstand operating temperatures from -55°C to +125°C. It is rated at moisture sensitivity level (MSL) 1 and is packaged in tape and reel (T&R) format, ensuring fungal inertness for enhanced durability.
