Gowanda’s SMRF1210S-680J is a molded shielded inductor designed for high reliability in electronic applications. Weighing just 0.05 grams and measuring 3 × 2.16 × 2.06 mm, this inductor is part of the SMRF1210S series and features surface mount technology (SMT) for easy integration. It is suitable for COTS+ grade applications, offering an inductance of 0.68 µH with a direct current resistance (DCR) of 0.55 Ω and a current rating of 0.59 A DC. The inductor operates effectively within a frequency range, with a self-resonant frequency (SRF) of 180 MHz and a test frequency of 25 MHz. It boasts a minimum quality factor (Q MIN) of 40 and a tolerance of ±5%. The termination type is lead-based (Pb) with a Sn63Pb37 finish, and it utilizes a powdered iron core. Although not shielded, it operates within a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, has a moisture sensitivity level (MSL) of 1, and is packaged in tape and reel (T&R) format.
