Gowanda’s GA5-154K is a high current power choke designed for demanding applications, featuring a compact size with dimensions of 10.16 × 4.064 × 4.064 mm and a weight of 0.6 g. This component is part of the GA5 series and is mounted using through-hole technology (THT), making it suitable for COTS+ grade applications. It offers an inductance of 1500 µH with a tolerance of ±10%, a direct current resistance (DCR) of 12 Ω, and a current rating of 0.13 A DC. The choke can handle a saturation current of 78 A DC and has a self-resonant frequency (SRF) of 0.76 MHz. It is constructed with a ferrite core and features a leaded termination type with a Sn63Pb37 finish.
